Party was off the hook.
Despite feeling a tired from being up at 0530 that day for a 12 hour shift on my feet, which probably hindered my energy level on the dancefloor (along with the massive burrito I ate), that was definitely one of the best parties I've been to in years. Definitely the best one at Vola.
For the record, I also prefer the new look and upper level dj booth at Vola.
I enjoyed both opening sets. Kris: could you post a tracklist?
Would love to know what J00F's tracklist was. I recognized the tracks Ben listed---whom it was nice to meet finally; after "knowing" you from the J00F forum! I don't think I recognized that e-clip track, whatever it was, but I'd like to know if its maybe something from Shuma(?) John said he was happy to be able to belt out some new tunes that we've probably never heard because it's not being recorded.
Chatting with John was great. Like Francis said, you can chat with him about anything. I asked him what he thought of TO and he said that it's like a second home; he's been coming here for nearly 20 years!
Whoever said J00F and Christopher Lawrence should come, I agree, that would be sweet.

The man himself was in top form and relentless all night. Very refreshing from the tiresome hands in the air, hand heart trance typically favored by the ta/vola crowd. Although he really should be in a big room setting, I would see him again at Vola.
