I'm sure the likes of Jon O Bir, Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila, Above & Beyond and Markus Schulz will be to your liking.
I do however recommend the following as well:
John 00 Fleming.

seconded on the john 00 flemming reccomendation
Not up on what he's been playing for a long time to be honest, followed him a lot round 2000-2003/04 check out his white label euphoria cds (more on a progressive trance vibe, think he is more psy trance now..or at least was)

Don't ask for DJ's, ask for producers. DJs only play tracks, while producers actually make them.
When it comes to what music should be recommended, I'd suggest you to listen to the tracks that started it all. Dance2Trance, Jam & Spoon and Humate are good to start out with. After that, work your way through the history of this genre.
With that said, since you mentioned Armin and Tiesto in your post, I'd better inform you that many people on this forum like to bash them really hard for "killing trance". While I may not be a fan of what they've been doing lately, I think it's wrong to send them to the International Court of Haag for crimes against humanity. If you like their music, fine, keep listening to them until you've been sick of their music. Just be aware that some users here does not want to call it trance.

I agree with what your saying to an extent mate but I think follwing djs is like the opening, you find what the djs are playing then follow the producers/label/remixers etc through that ..its like the first door you go through the dj showcasing the tracks, you will find more stuff that way IMHO of course
