you must go to dinosaur bbq and order the porksket and ribs.
also, try the syracuse pale ale (SPA) - a syracuse gem!
armory square is a good place to bar hop. the blue tusk has a great selection of draft beers.
maybe the syracuse crunch (AHL hockey team) have a home game this week?
if i were you i would stay away from the nonexistent club scene because it's just really bad music and venues. stick to the bars! |

I went to school at Buffalo but I've been to Syracuse quite a few times. I recommend Dinasour BBQ for food and Armory Square for drinks.
I did had a good time at Syracuse University but that's a another story... |

N. Salina was scary as at 7pm! Right around where all the hookers and strip clubs were.
Where in the can you buy liqour here? Had to go to some sketchy place on N Salina with a homeless guy working and writing receipts on a dollarstore notepad. And noting the sale down in a dusty leather bound ledger lol
Isn't there a supermarkert? Used the GPS to find a grocery store, it took me to Safeway, turn right, turn left, arrive on destination on left... destination on left was a burned down building with some un savory characters huddling around small bonfire. :nervous: |

AVOID: east fayette street unless you're in the heart of downtown. Same goes for Salina.
Syracuse bars are the ! I worked at harry's for like 5 years, go there on a thursday, friday saturday and ask for jon, tell him Ravi suggested you come there and that you love "that techno " LOL!!
food... def go to dinosaur you have to. lemon grass is good for thai, the tusk has nice sandwiches... king davids is dope middle eastern food but i think the marshall st location is closed now
STRIP CLUBS: adult word on erie blvd... the strip club entrance is at the back of the building, that place or Dream Girls, also on erie are the best imo. There's a spot on the northside that serves alcohol but its only topless so that.
I LOVE THE CUSE!!! def try and get to basketball game, there was one last night actually, WV. next game is saturday at 4 at the DOME. #1 venue in college basketball.
oh man im overwhelmed at how hard it is to tell someone where to go in the greatest city in the world.
LIQUOR NEAR YOUR HOTEL: go to westcott street. there's a spot across from sabastinos. Or go to piraino's and see butchie. its on randall road by number 1 kitchen. |

Brisket, pulled pork and ribs, with rice and beans and the tomato and cucumber salad... WOW!
Tried a pitcher of SPA too... nice!
Lovely gal Annie as our waitress! Bought some of the jabenero sauces as well.
Now, if this can digest soon, Harry's for some beers. |
