I hope you're not referring to the M.O.S. sets... those were incredible and I found them to be flawless.

He is back on CDs again.

And yes... beatmatching is pretty basic, but nobody is perfect. A small tap and you could be off by seconds....

I didn't like the awards one at all... the WMC boat party... possible skipping from the boat swaying and people bumping the table the decks are on??

Lol....no offence to anyone man....its just that 90% of the time sets you hear are flawless...to hear more than one messed up transition in an hour set is a rarity...that too from a legend.

If 90% of the sets you listen to are flawless, you listen to primarily studio-recorded sets, whether you know it nor not. That, or all the sets you listen to are mixed by DJs who use software.

I just listened to the Boat Party Mix, and there isn't a single true "trainwreck" recorded. Some mixes slip off for a second or two, but they are put back on fairly quickly.

And specifically about that set, it was recorded on a boat during WMC...I am sure it was more of a party for Sasha than a straight up gig. The booth monitors were probably not ideal (being on a boat) and I am sure he was drinking quite a bit. Considering that, the set was mixed pretty damn good...obviously good enough for Digweed to air it on his global Radio show.
