I Lost An Ear, But I'll Never Stop Mixing: Feb. 2011 Mix [Progressive / Trance]

It's true, I've lost a ear for awhile, the doctors discovered my hearing bones in my right ear were shattered due to great Trance music, the loudness of clubs, and Artillery. Will be up to a year before they can do reconstructive surgery on my hearing bones. Until then I mix with one ear! Hope you enjoy the mix, not sure how it'll sound since I can only hear 50% of the music!

02. Den Rize & Mark Andrez - Naiad (Audien Remix) [FSOE Recordings]
03. Abstract Vision & Elite Electronic - Echoes [Enhanced Progressive]
04. EDU Feat Aelyn - Taken Away (ReOrder Remix) [Perceptive Deep]

depends what kind. The hairs in your inner ear cannot. But still, you should be taking this issue a little more serious.
DJ Coleman
Yeah its scary stuff, not being able to hear out of a ear. Takes some time getting used too, thats for sure!

I assume you are in the army ? That sort of damage is done by loud abrupt noises so it probably was the gun fire and then the loud music probably made it worse.

If I only had one ear, I would take ing good care of it until I got the other one back.

I'm taking good care of it! Got some tubes put in it, and my hearing is great. Not as loud music only about 40-50% on the volume level.

Never do stand in front when that thing goes off, you don't wanna be in front of it... however only a foot or two away. So loud it breaks windows!

so are you in the army ? How loud is like a howitzer 88 or whatever the you guys are using. Is there any sort of protection that can stop that level ?

Also, the operation you had, how much did it cost and was it experimental ?
