Just came across this, Christopher Lawrence is playing here on Thursday nite. Anyone familar with this venue? Is it new?

District 30 is owned and operated by the same people who run Ruby Skye. So is the new pizza place and dive bar adjacent to it.
It's a lounge (with a dance floor), but it's legit. Great sound, classy decor, part of a trio of new places that just opened. A number of people saw Sasha there recently, so you might want to check it's event thread (click here) as people left impressions of the place....

It depends on the night, really.
Right now, tier 1 GA tix are only $10 and I haven't seen them open up a free list for this. They may open a $5 GL tomorrow.

If anyone hasn't yet checked this place out, it's well worth it. Sound quality is superb, drinks are cheap, quality of service is excellent...and now it is becoming more of a dancers club, which is nice. |

| Awesome night and the vibe was great. Everybody on the dance floor was dancing and the place is not too pack. Christoper Lawrence got on around midnight and ended his set a little bit after 2am. His set was great, but I've seen better sets from him in the past. I hope EDM stays alive in Sacramento. |
