Its not connected to the internet
And yeah I notice you could here the other 2 contestants jamming away at the trigger desperately trying to get in first
Watson is pretty impressive and I really neat tool for processing all the information out there as they highlighted in the second show.

It is interesting because the IBM team was supposed to correct that oversite by telling Watson what the others answered before he submitted his.

4 years in the making and 30 million dollars later. More than a search engine. Watch the Nova special "Smartest Machine on Earth" at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/tech/s...e-on-earth.html or download it if you get that dammed regional cockblock. |

You can say what you want but in the end this comes down to marketing to me. Tons of companies make more impressive systems but you don't hear about it because they'd rather keep it a secret and profitable for them instead of boasting.
30 mil is 30 mil, but I bet IBM could pump that amount into more of their dumbass "smarter planet" commercials and not receive 10% of the hype they got from this tin can turd. |

nothing strange why he guessed Toronto really - US has 8 Toronto cities (one in TX for example) |

Yes but none of them has a major airport...
And none were named after WWII vets...
The logic for his selection was explained pretty well... |
