Cell Phone tickets now 2 points...

Just read an article in the Post that if you get a ticket for talking on your cell phone while driving it's now 2 points as well as the fine.
Just a heads up to everyone. |

Good, hopefully it will discourage people from doing so. Most people should have a hands free kit or bluetooth by now or at least the standard speakerphone function. It's not really necessary to have the phone to your ear anymore. If you do, then you deserve to get caught.
There's really nothing worse than driving behind some douche that's on the phone and swerving around or not going with the flow of traffic just cuz he's on the phone besides may be the women who put their make up on in the car. |

nyc has some really bad driver's in general
we live in a city where everything is quick paced but yet alot of the drivers are slow, iam not saying speed but atleast keep up with traffic for godsake...traffic is one of the biggest downfalls in nyc and a portion has to do with slow/distracted drivers
i once seen a guy playing a guitar while he was driving...who does that? seriously |

| ^^ I don't know, I feel like NYC has better drivers than Jersey. There are too many soccer moms here that hesitate and then bam. At least in the city you know people are going to cut you off and are going to pull some ridiculous . |

I'm gonna have to disagree just based on the sheer #'s of yellow cabs alone. They are ruthless!

i in hate female drivers, no offence to anyone here. But got damn women get your together. they have side-view/rearview mirrors for a reason. Use them.
and that douche driving his prius at 50 MPH in the HOV lane just off. |
