I have a question thats been bothering me for a couple days now, ever since I consumed a piece of Dutch "dubbel zout" (double salty) licorice.

WHY?, DEAR GOD WHY?

nobody puts bubblegum flavor on steaks, or shrimp paste on cookies.

someone explain to me the enigma of salty licorice, and how in gods name you can consume it!

(much respect to the dutch, no offense intended)

This odd taste idea is the result of one of these...

-a licorice company executive wanted to piss off some1
-the fact that the world is very vast and muticlutured and thus vastly different, IS A FACT! (<--most likely answer)
-some things are better left un-said
-some ppl apparently like salty candies....????!! :eyespop: :nervous: :wtf: :haha: :eyes: :conf:   :( ;) :D

oh yea...and I am partly Dutch, so I do speak from background knowledge, legit!
