Maybe subconsciously she is gaining something from you (whether you see the intercourse as a pure physical connection or not) which inhibits her from seeking it from this guy or even others. Maybe this guy is meant to be her life long partner and you are in the middle of that, preventing it's transition from stage 1 to stage 2.
You might be "saying" go date him, but your actions are far from it. Sorry but that's not being a f*** buddy, that's being a self-centered and putting your own ejaculation in front of the well being of people around you.
And yes you can say well hey that's her own choice but sometimes people don't see things as clearly as you. Possible she can't see it clearly because for her its more than f*** buddies and her mind is clouded. If she's starting a full relationship I'd back off and let her see how it develops on it's own.
