Exactly. I didn't say it was otherwise? I asked people which they liked better, the old glowier design or the new sharper design.

I love your use of Papyrus. Such an ugly font.

the new one looks better, but that top-thingie looked better when it had the same width all over, like in the old one.

sharp lines are better.

I think the crescent weakens the whole thing a lot.

Maybe you should try making the arc wider and placing it across the logotype, within each individual letter, so that it's implied rather than presented as an afterthought. This would make the logotype have a unique look which makes it more than just an out of the box tech font.

My general rule of thumb in design is, if you feel that you have to use a swoosh, your logo is probably .

I think the new one looks sharper. BTW I know they're cheesy but it's intentional cheese because it's über recognizable.

New

Old

Lmao, it's not really a swoosh. I know how frowned upon they are :p Look at what it's pointing to. it starts at the A and moves on. It says both "Sean" and "Android."

Think about how the amazon logo has that arrow that goes from A to Z.

The old one thinned out at the edge too exactly the same way. Look a little closer.

No, you said it was quite a bit different and all but called bas blind for not being able to tell the difference. I couldn't tell much of a difference at first before I looked at it a few times either.
