A lot of exciting and terrible things are happening in the Middle East. It surly will never be there same there. Also, people in Iran are demonstrating and yet Iran is moving a warship past Israel and into the Med Sea. Israel will NOT sit back. Personally im scared of what might happen.

Despite all this, I am not scared of extremest gaining power due to the fact that the people want change and that the movement is centered around internet social networks and the youth.

What would happen if china allowed a free flow of information and facebook?

Just some thoughts that have kept me up at night

I don't think China is as worse off as some of these Middle Eastern nations are, so in general I don't think their population would be as inspired to revolt. Yes China's government sucks, but they are in no way as corrupt like Iran, which is an absolute hole both in terms of individual freedoms and living conditions. China is a lot better off than they are.

Iran is similar to North Korea in that they like to "show off" their military powers in efforts to get people nervous, but if something really serious actually happened, they would probably get blown to . Israel crippled their nuclear program with Stuxnet for starters.
