How many labels is an artist allowed to be signed to?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post it but Im currently signed to Chill Om Records in India and signed a contract too.However another label asked me to try out a remix for them and was wondering if it was possible to do a remix with them or would that be illegal?

| Your contract should stipulate whether you are signed exclusively to the label, or if you can use others. |
