If you couldn't ask compound questions, I'd say the questions would have to be inter-related to each other where your asking one god about the other two gods, then based on that answer asking one of the other gods about the answer given to the first question and so on. It gives me a headache just thinking of it. It would take me a long time to figure out the solution and even if I did I doubt anyone would believe I did so without looking up the answer. The random god throws a monkey wrench into my solutions. Anyway, I'm impressed by the difficulty of such a seemingly simple riddle. |

yah, it's all about asking the truth god about the other gods. |

way to start a "brain teasers" thread out with the hardest logic puzzle ever...

While taking a I just came up with this solution:
You ask the first two gods the question "Will you answer my questons truhfully?""Will you answer this questio with yes?". If one of them is like :wtf: or his head explodes then he was False. If not, then the third one is False.
Then you distinguish the other gods by asking one of them "Would that guy answer with yes if I ask him whether he's a fag?". If the god goes or his head explodes then it was True. Else, if he gives any answer he must be Random.
In the end you have not only solved the riddle but also killed two gods by asking unanswerable questions! :D |

 | yeah...sorry about that...
A basket contains 5 apples. Do you know how to divide them among 5 kids so that each one has an apple and one apple stays in the basket?
hint: the apples remain whole |

Duh, just give one kid the basket with an apple in it. |

good, now answer the initial question...take a longer if needed. :p |

Wut? I did answer that question. |

if you ask false if "he will answer your questions truthfully" he will say yes. I think you have to ask something along the lines of "will you answer ja if you are truth and b is random?" after figuring out that ja is yes, if indeed it is, in order to get any sort of a clear answer. |

Meh, I just wanted to create a paradoxon for him. Then I guess it should be "Will you answer this question with yes?". As he needs to lie there is no answer and his head will explode.

haha, I see. I'd be wary of giving a god a headache though. Last time Zeus had a headache he split his own head open and out came Athena...then we would have 4 Gods to deal with. |

Someone must have done that already. Cause surely when the god of falsehood splits open his treacherous head the only thing that could come out is Sarah Palin. |
