its either a JP 8080 or nordlead rack 2x
can the JP8080 make any sound or is it limited
same goes for the nord
which is less limited in producing sounds?
i didn't do a search cuz the question looks simple |

| It's not that easy. I personally disliked the JP8000 interface when I had a few minutes of hands-on time and loved the Nord. The JP has built in effects, the Nord does not. The JP is especially known for it's supersaws/trance sounds, the Nord for it's agressiveness and the way it just cuts through a mix. |

| the nord is more limited but in a way it is just a classic sound that won't sound dated. Both are great and compliment each other. I find jp8000 harder to come buy . |

the JP filter sucks, it clicks with low cutoff, also attack from the JP is soft/smooth, Nord is capable for far more aggressive plucky sounds. however the JP has the "Supersaw" and good FX.
would go myself for the Nord, JP is sort of 1 trick pony |

| Question about the JP8080, since it has unison will it be loud enough when i run into my motu ultralight MK1? or do i increase the gain on the waveform |
|

| both are normalized for unbalanced signal, so yes plenty of gain available |

The Nord has a lot of options, being virtual analogue. Tons of patches available.
Korg Radias is another to consider.
What about the Prophet 08 if you want to go the analogue route?
Analogue circuitry with the stability and flexibility of modern tech. |

no it doesn't. It has less waveforms and as far as I remember the same or less routing abilities. |

I mean this retard actually said he didn't want to research due to how simple the question was. That teethered his lazy meter far past red imo. You don't research something because its difficult or complex and want people to explain it, not because its "simple".
