Does anyone know the tempo of the loops provided in the Thomas Penton Essential Drums vol 1? I cant figure it out.... Many Thanks! |

Each loop is tagged with the bpm - for example "Hi Hat Loop - 082 (130bpm)", unless you "borrowed" them from a warez size. Most of them are 130bpm, but some are 128, 132, etc. |

im gonna take a wild guess and say 128. If you send me a loop i can check in ableton and tell you. |

I actually have the the CD and none of the samples are tagged with the tempo. I put a bpm counter and them in logic and its useless. |

which ones are you trying to figure out? i can give you the tempos from my file names. |

Can't you look at the wave form and line up the plosives with the beats by raising and lowering the tempo of your DAW?
Honestly, this is another example of a clutter thread. |

btw. it looks like you were right cuz not all the folders have the tempos in the file name, including bongos and congas. I found it using recycle. there are some free bpm analyzers on the web, do a google search - i think mixmeister has one. |
