Does anyone know the tempo of the loops provided in the Thomas Penton Essential Drums vol 1? I cant figure it out.... Many Thanks!
Inner Sanctum
Each loop is tagged with the bpm - for example "Hi Hat Loop - 082 (130bpm)", unless you "borrowed" them from a warez size. Most of them are 130bpm, but some are 128, 132, etc.

im gonna take a wild guess and say 128. If you send me a loop i can check in ableton and tell you.

I actually have the the CD and none of the samples are tagged with the tempo. I put a bpm counter and them in logic and its useless.
Inner Sanctum
which ones are you trying to figure out? i can give you the tempos from my file names.

Can't you look at the wave form and line up the plosives with the beats by raising and lowering the tempo of your DAW?

Honestly, this is another example of a clutter thread.

btw. it looks like you were right cuz not all the folders have the tempos in the file name, including bongos and congas. I found it using recycle. there are some free bpm analyzers on the web, do a google search - i think mixmeister has one.

Thanks
