I was thinking in the greater scheme of things. I mean, SHM and this dreak helps define the current genre of Electro. Its indeed one of my favorite tracks. And I'm sure it took more than just, what this guy is demonstrating. I mean, the song is an Anthem. But, this video demonstrates just how simple recreating it actually is. I was blow away that the notes played looked way easy.
they are the producers every is trying to copy . shm are just a bump in the road

Some trance has melodic rhythms are just ing straight as a board.

I'm not sure what point is being made here. Many well loved melodies are very simple but that's only the starting point. The sounds and orchestration and overall delivery are what count.
U2 nearly gave up until one day a producer gave them 'that sound' and the rest is history.
I'm a total believer in the totality of a track and do not see a distinction between it's sonic landscape and the actual notes played.
ABBA realised this way back in the day and spent huge amounts of energy crafting thier sound as did the Beach Boys.
It's like anyone can follow a meal recipe but there will be a massive difference between the best and worst total outcomes for that given dish.
I like the track actualy. I can enjoy something cheesey and popular as much as I can enjoy some esoteric arty complex track.
I can enjoy a black and white German art film and also a Holly wood blockbuster the crits would deem to be cheese.

This looks like somebody made video documentation of their very first attempt to produce a track in Fruityloops. Garbage. I don't think it's even worthy to be called a "tutorial".

Simpler works better on the dancefloor
Stu Cox
Simpler is also easier to sing along to, which makes it more memorable.
The hard part's making it both simple and original.
