back to the drawingboard and been redoing all the melodies
mind u the mix sucks, so does the arrangement, it's nearly a way to introduce all elements. some lines to soft, bass maybe a bit hot, but i've got a little one crying for a bottle so need to hurry up :)
anyway listen to the track, the development, tell me what u like and don't like and i'll try to take it from there.
I really like the melody. It needs a more updated sound though in my opinion. What bpm is it (about 133?) I think it should be a little faster.
I have been trying HARD to put the name to the song this reminds me of. I finally recalled Scumfrog - Watersong. It's a classic so that is a good thing to be compared to. Now don't neglect the little one :P

Makes me think of 90s bubblegum pop. Like S Club 7.

Kick is very mid clicky vengeancey, clap very basic and the bass drags on the track - it needs some small timing adjustment.
It does'nt sound as modern as other tracks of yours.

Agree. My main critique of most the songs I have seen on this forum is that they don't sound current enough (and to some extent 'big' enough). That isn't a 'bad' thing neccesarily but if you are going for getting played by DJs it is. Other than that most have been well mixed, well composed, programmed well, ect. My tracks have the exact same problem.
