| Wow you really pounded away at this one. The piano was good, like the little riff you have going on. I didn't notice anything with the beats or rhythms being off. The up and down on the keyboard was kinda of a turnoff but whatever. Very interesting, I imagined your banging your head like a rocker to this one, which is how I would be had I been the producer. Fun track. |

hey you stole my title =D
Your sounds are all over the place. I get the theme sorta, but the sounds are so badly mixed down its really hard to listen
try striping back some elements and only keeping the core elements |

| All over the place? I don't think the sounds are clashing really, but thanks for the feedback anyway. I'll see how I can improve. |

| ok so, this mix is very fatiguing for the ears, not a good sign. if you're using a lot of compression you might want to re-evaluate your use. Also, im with Sako about the frequency use, you need to understand the frequency spectrum and respect it. your bass is muddy. I think you got the right idea, but as far as the song goes, it doesnt do anything for me, its very loopy and uninteresting for myself. you dont have to take my word for things. |

| Well, I use zero compression, the track seems to be much louder when played in soundcloud, but technicalities aside, there are things I agree with, it might sound a bit too loopy actually; perhaps I should work on a secondary piano riff; thanks for the feedback :) |

| Im sort of with MSZ. the track doesnt do anything for me. There are many elements but none that grip me and make me wanna keep listening. I know it sucks to hear that but I guess this is what we really are looking for here. Truthfull feedback. Thats just my opinion tho. |

The kick and bass at outset are pretty well mixed, but the piano then comes in and is not far off, but still too dominating - the sound itself needs to be a different piano, more rstrained and note so mid fuzzy.
From 1 minute in it losses the groove and space as that big fuzzy synth just blankets the rest. I realise this will puzazle you and you may be thinking, 'huh, I hear loads of big snarling synths in pro tracks, what's he on about', but in time you will find your ears get better at sound selection. This synth sound is way wrong here.
The rest of the track is not too groovey - it's very stright timed and not swung or organic, which leads to a feeling that it's a Japaneese Technics organ demo at a country fayre. That'snot me being rude, but I wanted to poke you a little to raise your consciousness and start to hear things better.
Trust me you will feel better soon from having been kicked a little now. Don't worry, it will come as long as you keep being self critical - dont give your own tunes a 'glad ear'. Try and hear them as you yourself listen to other peoples chit with a non glad, properly critical ear.
You have a nice early groove going in the track - build on that and watch out for wrong sound choices thereafter. |

I always give myself a few days without listening to my recent tracks before working on them so, like you said, I get rid of that 'glad ear' ;)
I feel like ditching the synth altogether, and work on the strings+piano combo that comes in at around 3:00, what do you think? |
