hey people,
i've been to viva within the past month so heres some info about it when i was there:
1. if you do plan on buying glowsticks inside its 4 bucks each what a rip... but i dunno if they'll let you bring from outside so ummm hopefully someone else could answer that.
2. the crowd when i went was more on the asian side, and a few shirtless gino's. hopefully i'm not offending anyone here but yeah thats what i saw, and yeah the girls look young but i wouldnt say they looked like they were 15 though... (then again at guvernment you'll see old cougars and crap so i dunno which one would be worse...)
3. i have no idea what they mean by that dumb dresscode stuff, cuz when i went my freind was wearing a bball jersey but i didn't see a lot of gold chains and necklaces inside so maybe...??
4. viva is pretty much one big room and its not as big as Guv, but i wouldn't say its that much smaller seeing as how Guv is always rammed that you can't dance...
but yeah Gielen should be hype! i haven't gone to a club to see a spwcific dj since my bday last year when i saw ferry corsten at guvernment and the week after saw Tiesto at koolhaus then PvD at guvernment... now that was trance bliss... hehehe have fun everyone!! |

1. dunno about the glowstick .. but most of the ppl with them inside seemed like E'd up fobs !
2. totally more asian .. altho that was like last winter, i didn't see any gino's tho ?? when did u last go ? haha and yea would totally prefer the younger chicks (cuz atleast they're gettin older) over cougars (which ain't gettin any younger) ! eww..
3. yea and i think by dresscode they juss mean like u can't expect to get in lookin totally ghettolike u gonna jack someone up inside. so that prolly rules out Fubu and Enyce wear juss by assumption .. :P
4. and so tru .. Viva has tons more room to dance.. omg, i actually didn't have my feet stepped on would u believe it ?? |

hey desidel,
i was at viva 3 weeks ago, or maybe it was a month ago, yeah there were a few ginos there, but definitely a lot more fobs and i was there with a few azn's so i probably added to the number... :toothless
but yeah man i liked having room to dance without getting my feet danced on but as in all clubs, there'll always be some stuck up people just roaming around who just "dress up" but dont dance you know just wanna show off..?! whats up with that damn biatches!!:whip:
and yeah definitely some e flying around in there... hahaha but these nice people gave me thier glowsticks cuz i gave them a few really nice lightshows... :D

err, about the dresscode: would it be alrite if i wore like a tshirt and cargo-ish pants (think: fob pants with buckles and stuff lol) and white athletic shoes? or would i have to go all pretty?
i'd hate to hafta dance in my dress shoes, that would hurt reaaaal fast
hey, any liquiders or dancers gonna be there? i'd like to meet up with anyone and get some pointers! None of my friends are really into this sorta thing so i've never hooked up with anyone and learned
all i know are from vids =( |

You guys are taking this dress-code thing out of proportion! Just don't go in there wearing gang banger , walking with a limp or with your pants stuck in your socks with untied shoes, you know what I mean??
Raver wear is definitely accepted there in fact its encouraged!

wtf.. oh no, lookz like the GINO's hav discovered the club! great.. the gino invasion has begun.. there goes the neighborhood..
we gotta keep the Azn population runnin in there ! otherwise the place with by filled up with greaseheads..

no gino's allowed that'd be funny, but man its not even them its just people who wear no shirts!! That should be the dresscode "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service"!! but i know they'll just take off their shirt later... gawd man i know a place like viva will get hot after a while but be considerate! no shirts are just nasty as hell...
so yeah the dresscode is not strict people i'm pretty sure you could go there wearing anything and they couldn't care less! but yeah Pyromancer, just wear your cargos and white shoes man, i think all clubs should let you wear runners cuz thats the most comfortable way to dance... and i didn't see too many liquid dancers if any when i went but theres always one or more if you look... :stongue:

p.s. someone could go check out viva this weekend and find out about the rules for the place if they really wanna know that badly, when i went it was 12 bucks to get in i think... |
