I almost didn't want to comment on here because I didn't want you to feel like I was doing it because you didn't like my track, but I promise I'm being completely geniuine.
It doesn't really have a groove, there's far too much stacked on top of itself and it's way too busy for it to jive. I feel like you accomplished the opposite of what you wanted to. There are so many synths stacked on top of each other they just get lost within themselves and lose definition.
Try to dance to (especially) the second half of the track. It just doesn't make you move. |

I think it sounds sweet! I don't think there's too many synths at all. I rekon you could get more in there tbh.... like a main melody?
All it needs is some better mixing, compression and eq and that could be sounding phat. I'd be glad to give it a go for you if you wanna send over each track as an mp3 or wav.
Oh yeah and it needs to be longer :P
Did you write the harmony yourself or did you copy it from another tune?

| Cool glad you like it man, thanks. I don't really compress or EQ that much until the very end, so yeah. There isn't any bussing atm, either. I haven't borrowed anything harmonically, it's just improvised composition. Will check your tunes after a couple beers tonight, will give you the classic E140 treatment ha :) |
