2011.03.05 Danny Tenaglia's 50th Birthday Bash @ Best Buy Theater

50 only comes once, and for Danny Tenaglia, you can imagine it will be big. The NYC legend, who has remixed everyone from the Pet Shop Boys to Depeche Mode to Yoko Ono and has held residencies at some of the best clubs ever to grace NYC, has made an official announcement about his upcoming birthday party. The party, which is slated for Saturday, March 5th, will be thrown at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square (formally the Nokia Theater).
Some of us remember the Best Buy Theater from the mid 2000's when it was called "The World." The space, which strays from Tenaglia's normal locations for parties, is more of an open concert venue. The theater per its website is stated to hold 2100 people. The theater is no stranger to dance music acts. DJ's Ferry Corsten, Eric Prydz, and ATB have all held parties at the theater. The ever-evolving New York dance scene seems to be evolving out of the night club and into to the concert venues (IE: Jonathan Peters, Victor Calderone, Deadmau5). We look forward to this one.
