Over the years I've really enjoyed hearing various TA's mix. but the best ones, for me, have been the ones that have real heart and soul put in to them. not some monthly/weekly radio show and/or podcast; but mixes that have told a story. mixes that didn't involve all top 40 from beatport. some mixes from the TA Bedroom sessions. mixes that felt a sound to the season (summer, winter, etc...). and a class early '00 mix in there every once in awhile is great too. and hell even some great ambient ones too. doesn't always have to be PLUR!

Seriously though, some of the best music I listen to comes from this forum. There is some serious talent among many of the DJs here :) |

| Couldn't we just have a sub-forum created here for the Armin/Guetta fanboys to whore their weekly podcasts/radio shows? I think it would help filter out most of the crap that inundates this forum effectively. |

I agree, there is Too much of it going on.And a sub-forum would be good for that.I hate those threads where people just constantly bumping there own thread, asking for feedback on there mix.
If a mix looks interesting poeple will listen, and you will get feedback!!
But this is the place to be to find great mixes, Every now and then you will find one :) |

i agre a little....i only listen to mixes that look appealing to me. i don't care for psy, breaks, or that dnb crap (lol!). so i won't bother with it. but then on the other hand, i do appreciate feedback on my own stuff.
anyway, yeah it would be great for a sub forum of "weekly" or "monthly" casts/mixes. |

I mean, I pretty much have a new mix per month, but I wouldn't consider my threads to really be spamming this subforum. There are a lot of DJs who are a little less popular that post and may still get feedback, even if it is some boring uplifting trance or something. There are a lot of them though, and that's why it seems like there are too many. Perhaps a forum just for weekly podcasts or radio show recordings? |
