Huge lag while typing. It jumps around like crazy in the post screen...
TA is the only forum that gives me this problem...

Get on it Del:whip:
Then I've answer your question Nick :)
a) let the loading complete
b) let the load pass 30% and hit cancell to avoid loading the other junk
You're typing while TA is loading up at the same time. Should I make a video for you guys? :p
This is why everyone is using Tapatalk or forum app to avoid the massive loading.

Thanks John... I followed your advice and it definitely helped...
There's still a little lag on typing but a def improvement...
No video necessary...

I'm glad I watched it in the end...

Never had a problem using TA with my Android.

B/C Android doesn't use that much data and the browser is not that enjoyable. (trying to say it in the most nicest and sincere way:))
Nick - Glad it helped you out and I'm also glad you liked my video. I do miss mid 90s hip hop a lot too. IMO, best thing to do is type out your msg on the note pad and copy and paste it over for posting. The typing lag does stink sometimes.

How is the browser not enjoyable? I guess I'm missing something?

I used my friends Galaxy S for a while and compared side to side, there is no comparison...
Which phone do you have??
Silky Johnson
How is there no comparison? Why are Apple/iphone users so uppity and competitive? Lol, it's just a phone!
I have a Galaxy S running Froyo, and I've never had issues with the browser. In fact, I just did some Google searches comparing Froyo to to OS4 and, maybe I'm too much of a noob and am missing something, but it looks like most people say that Android's browser > iphone's (aside from it slowing down when flash is turned on? But correct me if I'm wrong but iphone doesn't even have flash?)
Anyway, what am I missing that makes it such an unenjoyable browsing experience? It runs smooth and fast, and pages load just fine, what's the problem?

This is why I respect you Jenny, many ppl fail to realize the importance of doing their homework before they start the questioning. :)
*Speaking of which, I was @ BBM and this stupid bitch asked the CSR "What Android phone should I get, and WHY?" I told straight up, "Look, I use an iPhone and even I know you have to get a Dev phone or you'll be waiting for updates that may take years to come" Her face turned red, and all the CSRs thanked me :)*
(Before I begin; let's get this straight, I've made my reply to be super nice and sincere so there won't be any type of iPhone vs Android retarded battles.)
The Samsung Galaxy S browser is indeed a tad faster then iOS's Safari, but it's not the speed we are concerned about and if that's the case, Opera Mini would wipe out everyone in its path. The IP4 uses 4x more data then any mobile device on the market; that's why sometimes it may seem a tad "slow'ish", but others would be even slower if they were transferring that much data.
What sets the iOS and Safari apart from everyone else, it's the ease of the UI integrated with the main OS and the smoothness of the performance (not talking about bandwidth speed performance here). For example, switching between a few diff browser pages at once and most importantly, multitasking in and out of Safari with the OS or apps is extra buttery smooth and fast (with the help of scrollable multitasking dock). Also, the layout of the menus are placed very well for navigation and you don't have to dig through several diff screens to hit a certain menu, which is major problem with Android. Many had stated this as a fact, after testing and using Android for a long period of time. This is coming from ppl who had switch in and out of Android to return back to the iPhone, so their experience is not based on biased point of view. Keep in mind, there is "small" number of ppl who left the iPhone, jumped on Android and never came back.
Since we are talking about Android and their Dev phone, I really hope they get their together with the Nexus S. That is the Android phone to get, but lately the list of problems just keep coming and none of their users are happy (even I'm not happy to hear this). After fixing one critical bug, another pops up and they're back to the drawing boards. The most recent bug plaguing the update 2.2.3 Gingerbread, is the screen discolouration of the Super AMOLED screen.

I'm not a nerd! Just covering all my bases, making sure everything is clear and everything I state is detailed & valid.
Just don't like this Andriod vs iPhone nonsense at all and they're ppl who open their mouth without doing homework.
Anyways, keep up the good work my dear.

I've skimmed through 3/4 of this thread and all I can say is that I've had NO problems with TA and my iPhone 4, none really. No complaints here. HOWEVER, if you can make things easier than a regular web page, then by all means Del, DO EEEEET. :p
