Going to Pendulum tonight at the Wiltern, what should I expect?

So, my "friend" is giving me his extra ticket to Pendulum tonight at the wiltern. It is technically a late Bday present (or my sister turned him down right around my bday, or something. Dunno). Anywho, since my Bday, I'm officially old and don't keep up with all these bands, so I've never heard of pendulum till I was offered the ticket. A half-assed wiki search reveals their drum-n-bassiness. I've always sorta enjoyed drum-n-bass, but only for about half an hour, then I get bored and have to move on to something else. A half-assed listen to their most recent essential mix reinforced that feeling (not that my system can do drum n bass properly). However, I do hear, and sorta read they put on a great show. My questions to those that may know are these:

Is the Show good enough to keep me interested past 30 min or so? What kind of cool showy stuff do they do? The guy who gave me the ticket swears it'll be the best shower I've ever seen, but I don't think he realizes I've see GWAR 17 times and counting, and you really can't compete with a faceful of undead hitler's cum, or onstage hybrid alien love child conception, birth/abortion, raping, theft, and bloody murder.

Also, I hate to admit that I've never actually been to the wiltern either. How is the sound? will it do DnB justice? Any funky policies I should know about? If the doors open at 8pm, how late should I expect this event to last?

Thanks for your input, even if it is some asinine remark about how I suck for whatever reason (definitely deserved).

If you have to deal with DnB, Pendulum is certainly one I'd rather deal with versus others. I know a lot of people who don't like DnB a lot, but really dig Pendulum.

the show was amazing...hope you had the good time. I just got home and I had a really good time dancing and jumping up and down upstairs with everyone else!

5.5 years of waiting to see these guys was worth the wait. One of the best musical acts I have ever seen and the LA crowd didn't disappoint. Everyone knew most of the lyrics and was having a blast. When The Island was played I got goosebumps hearing everyone chanting with the riff
