ugh! so glad I checked this board now at work. Thanks for posting, i just bought my tickets. *kicks myself for not being able to get $30 tickets*
I didn't get any info on this through Gareth's twitter or fb, nor did i receive anything from insomniac's fb or twitter before. What's going on?? did they just announce this today? |

Exactly like DaveT said, it's more like the Avalon. Ventilation is kinda bad downstairs when I was there for Combichrist and Infected Mushroom. 1100 is the capacity I think, much much smaller than the Palladium. The good thing about the music box for concert series is that they dont limit the dancefloor like Avalon does. There's individual seats upstairs unlike the Avalon. There's a rooftop with a great view for those who want to smoke or get some air.
No dress code of course...but my bf was rejected at the Infected Mushroom show for wearing shorts so he had to go home and change. =/ |

| I guess we won't be seeing GE at circus this year. I paid only $20 and it was fantastic last year. bummer, all this locking the contract BS. blah! |

| Totally missed this one earlier, but I bit, I'm in. I also thought his set at Circus was great, will take some adjustment seeing a DJ like Gareth in a smaller venue...maybe it works better for the live performances or something? |

| I am glad that Gareth is at the Music Box. Than hopefully every one will appreciate what we do at Circus weeks after weeks... Open Space. LED Screen. wow.. Instead of getting stuck like Sardines in a Club, but some people might like that...but is just my opinion, Thats all I have to say... Peace Love Music Dance |

If this is part of his Northern Lights Concert series (which it sounds like), it's pretty ing awesome. I just saw it at the Guvernment in Toronto this past weekend and his set was awesome. Should be at least 4 hours. I hope the sound people do a better job for yours though, because the live vocals you could barely hear when I went. I forget which song it is, but one of his newer tracks has an electric guitar-sounding solo in it, and having some guy play that live was really cool. That plus he's got a custom LED wall behind him for it, so it makes for a really good time.

Music box opens until 5 according to the flyer...4 hour set so he probably starts around 12:30 or 1? |
