U-Theory is a trio of talented producers, Edgar Guerrero, Romel Veera, and Kyle Sullivan, who have extensive experience in both music and event production.
Resident DJ�s Edgar Guerrero and Romel Veera collectively have more than a decade�s experience in music and music production. Kyle Sullivan brings an alternate perspective to the group�s creative vision with 15 years working in digital arts, content development, and audio engineering. Outside of their DJ experience, the trio carries a vast knowledge in the music and entertainment industries. Veera previously worked as an audio engineer and studio manager for Erick Morillo at his label Subliminal Records. Guerrero has worked as the Director of Operations for Mission nightclub in Miami Beach, and hosted a radio show on WOMB.com, and was a partner in Beatcamp - the highly successful drum �n� bass and experimental electronic music event.
Specializing in the vast house music genre, the group is not afraid to stretch the limits and test the waters of the larger dance music spectrum. One can easily find the likes of Techno, Progressive House, or Electro buried in one of the frequent long-format mixes which are available on the group�s official website: http://www.u-theory.com/.
Their willingness to play a variety of sounds is what sets them apart from many others in the industry, and opens the door for new opportunities working with some of the best creative talent. U-Theory�s sound and vision has begun garnering attention from some of New York�s more popular nightclubs. The trio hosts a weekly event every Monday night at Solas in the East Village entitled �Monday Maneuver�.
In recent news, U-Theory is invited to open for legendary tech-house producer, Eddie Richards in New York City on Saturday, March 5, 2011. U-Theory residents Edgar Guerrero and Romel Veera will be playing from 11 p.m. to midnight alongside Samsara, and of course headliner � Evil Eddie Richards.
