Who is Dixon and what kind of music does he spin?

| Im having a tough time finding mixes from this guy- can anyone share your thoughts on his sound or mix links? He has a party this saturday that everyone is raving about but cant find a damn thing from this guy. |

hes the funkiest nerdy white german guy from innervisions
he plays big room edits of chicago house, nu disco, funkier house edits, deep house, big room tech house, etc. I'd say generally he's pretty good but like most of those guys they don't like to get their hands too dirty when they play
you can expect a few token classics and a lot of edits and remixes of classics by his innervisions friends, and lots of german deep/minimal/tech haus with 'ethnic' percussion. |

Dixon is awesome. Though, the music he plays is best suited in small, intimate venues. I've seen him 5-10 times in the last 2 years and each time I had a blast. Last Friday was the last time I saw him. Too bad the club wasn't even half full, but the people who did attend made it an awesome night.
But I could be biased since I'm an Innervisions fanboy.
And the reason you can't find any sets of the guy -surprise surprise- is because he likes his selection of tunes to be exclusive and therefore won't allow any of his sets to be recorded. |
