[Link fail. Anyway, we decided a long time ago that promotion of things like sample packs is not spam, any more so than promotion of events is "spam" in the local forums. If it's a scam of some sort, that would be different. -DG]
Hmm interesting, guess I missed it? Thought that someone registering to this forum solely to advertise their products was considered spam I guess not? Your example of promotion of events is not a good one considering any self promoting events in the toronto section is automatically locked by a moderator and there is a specific section to post your events, as you know; which is like the for-sale forum.
