Does anyone have recommendations of solid trance or prog-trance comps from the past 2 or 3 years...and I'm not looking for vocal velveeta AVB, Tiesto nonsense. Peace.

I would love to help you out but there haven't been enough solid trance tracks released during the last three years to make it to whole compilations.

Check out T4L's new album Biogenesis.

A Trip in Trance Vol 1-6. & The Classics

Easily THE BEST collection of Trance. No argument can be made.

Specifically, Vol 2, 3, Simply Amazing.... Vol.6, the Last of the Great Stuff...

Also.... Mauro Picotto's "Tranceformers" Another GREAT!!

Oh I didnt even realize he said Past 2-3 years. Yea damn, I dont think one exists.

Ferry's Once Upon a Night is decent. Trance 100 Collections is the close as you get. But doesn't really compare to some of the real stuff thats out there.

when you have trance from 2005 and previous, you really don't need any other music. Period.

Once Upon A Night 1 and 2 by Ferry.

In Search of Sunrise 8 by Richard Durand.

but if you're looking for something with more of a banging club sound... I have no idea.

Anjunadeep vol 1-3, but maybe its not trance enough

Some great one, but maybe not the sort of trance you are looking for:

I thought someone might say that. I liked Solarstone's Destinations and EA a lot. Menno's Intuition Sessions 2 was decent. I didn't like Prague '11 at first, but it has grown on me. Miika's latest project was really good as was Timewave's. Thanks for the recommendations all!
