| so a friend of mine has been bragging for a little while now that his dad got him a early birthday present (two ticks to the ultra music fest). He decided to take his gf which is cool wit me cus he still hasnt gotten it in with her yet. (hes hopin it might happen in miami). Today he told me how much his dad paid for the ticks...$4400 for a 3 day vip pass.....i kinda thought wtf is that right..i didnt say anythin cus i dont wanna ruin his weekend , but is that really how much festival ticks are runnin for now? Granted he did get them off ebay... |

| yeah, but he still needs to find a hotel to stay in, i tried sort of explaning it to him that, the price is redicilous, and he brushed it off saying next year he will try to get the early birds. I was really worried, cus his dad is a blue collard guy to begin with, but my friend is to excited over the fact he might meet deadmau5 or whoever that he doesnt care. |

| hahaha, 4400 just to ultra, really? i'd take that money and vacation somewhere nice with no worries on my mind for a while and just relax, some where tropical and low key. what a bad decision for a birthday present, i feel angry the kid even allowed his dad to spend that much just to listen to music. spend it on a real experience |

The tickets alone aren't worth that much, IMO. Add hotels on top of that, whaaaaat. Everything will be pricey in Miami during WMC. Possibly more so this year, since all the good parties seem to be happening in UMF week, rather than the conference week.
But what the do I know?
