This is what will happen. People won't notice the sticky thread, post a new thread, others will flame him for making a new thread instead of posting in the existing thread, and the thread starter will say " you i do what i want"..

..but if you'd do this, then I think the sticky thread is a good idea. If you make some good rules for it. On some other forums I post on, there's a sticky thread, but almost everyone just posts the youtube link with no description, and, well, that sucks. But I guess since you can embed videos here, that won't be a problem.
So I'm gonna vote yes on a sticky thread, if you'll merge all new threads with the sticky one.
Can Jake Benson still have his own threads though? :p |

Yeah, of course. I consider that to be original content FROM THE CREATOR though, not just "Wow, I found a YT vid from somewhere, must make a thread on TA immediately".

| I don't think it's really a big enough issue in most threads. Sometimes though, there are threads that are "omg post your fav songz!!11" and there are 10 million embedded youtube videos in there. I just avoid those :o |

| I don't think a sticky is necessary, just a rule in place that discourages people from starting new threads where the original post is nothing but a single youtube video. Random talking is fine for dropping nothing but a video off, but a dedicated thread to that sort of thing would be awfully clunky. But that's just me. |
