The work is split up between a few of us but he drags out the work he does do and when he doesnt work he plays solitaire for 1 hour at a time. I dont play games or surf the net while I work. The only time I do anything thats not work related is when I am on my break. I guess its just the way I was raised to be honest and hardworking but not everyone shares the same mentality. |

I write people up each day for this... but make sure I know what they are doing before hand. If their work is done and done at a acceptable or above acceptable quality and it doesn't interfere with them doing their own work or others, I let them play. No harm, no foul.
Now if their work is being sacrificed, or interfering on the quality of their work, I tell them to stop, and if it continues, they get written up.
Not to mention, we have a pretty strict and serious infosec policy, so just accessing some of those flash games and what not will get you in pretty hot water with our IT and Information Security guys pretty fast on your own!
