As a classically trained multi- instrumentalist Channel is a musician in the purest sense of the word. He is a seasoned DJ who has extensive touring experience and has worked with some of the biggest names in dance music. More than just a DJ, his vast amount of skills have gained him recognition as one of the West Coast's brightest upcoming dance talents. U.S. Trance icon, Victor Dinaire, observed, "For Channel, it's a matter of when, not if." A prolific producer and solo artist, Channel has composed a large number of original productions and remixes on which he commonly does his own vocals, guitar, and keys. His music has appeared on some of the most powerful record labels in dance music including Armin's "Armada", Oakenfold's "Perfecto", Noel Sanger's "Dissident", George Acosta's, "Fektive" and his own label "Televisionary".
June 2011 will mark the release of the 4th Channel Surfer album entitled, "Life: The Sequel". "I've been wanting to make a pure Trance album for a while now and this is the time to do it", says Channel. The first single, "Come Out Swinging" has already been picked up by powerhouse label, "Discover Dark" and has early support from John Askew, Sean Tyas, and Victor Dinaire.
His 3rd artist album, "On the Big Screen" was released in 2009 as an iTunes exclusive and has made an impressive impact for an indie-dance album. Following the release of "OTBS", Channel hit the road to play a U.S. National Tour before coming home to Seattle to resume duties running his record label. Channel observes, "In the modern dance world, you have to be strong in the studio as you are on the stage." Channel is known for his genre defying DJ sets which span Breakbeat, Trance, and a touch of Electro dirtiness. Channel seamlessly blends old, new, and originals with his vast library of the finest dance music. "My goal is to play the most creative, off-the-wall sets I can, while still maintaining continuity and interest.". Channel Surfer is truly in a league of his own, and a one of a kind artist.

A Maryland native, Magnus has called Seattle, Washington home for the past 10 years. He began his career in 2002 by playing out around the area at club events and parties under the DJ name of “Magnus.” Magnus a growing number of releases to date between his “Magnus” and “Michael Lee” aliases, across labels such as Discover, Pharmacy, JOOF, and Audacious as well as tracks appearing on CD compilations by Armada, Ministry of Sound, and Moist Music. Magnus’s tracks have ranked in the top 10 psytrance chart on Beatport and have been played on A State of Trance, Future Sound of Egypt, Rush Hour, Global Trance Grooves, and many more. In 2009 Magnus won the Sean Tyas Melbourne remix competition with his Michael Lee remix, further proving his diversity and ability.
Magnus's style is somewhat of a crossover between trance and psytrance, incorporating characteristics of each into his music. His style uses grindy, acidic synths and basslines that forge together to produce an energetic and uplifting sound. His tracks have been played and supported around the world by Armin Van Buuren, Sean Tyas, John Askew, Aly and Fila, Christopher Lawrence, and John Fleming.
