Hey everyone, Judging by alot of sigs and avatars, quite a few of your are into cars so I'll ask a question.
What are some nice looking used cars that can be had for around 5000 US Dollars?

Depending on what you fancy:
Japanese Inspired Imports
Mazda 1993 and up RX7 about US $ 12,500 and up for a decent one.
Nissan 1990+ 300ZX NA about US $ 7,500-20k
Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo about US $ anywhere from 8k to 30k
Toyota Supra Twin Turbo BPUs about US $ mid-20s - US $ 40plus
Nissan Skyline GTR R34 about US $ 100,000 + taxes
Euro Sports
Dunno much..sorry...I am sure there are some Euro drivers lurking around..
American Muscle
Corvettes to LS1s....$$$$$
Mustang --> some mustangs are cool looking...i like the 1992 5.0L model.
If you want nice looking ones, you gotta pay for them. Or you can take a simple car and do it up nicely. It all depends how much you adore that ride.
Best Bet: Buy an "Auto Trader" magazine..check out all the books they have...make references....they are tons of models out there....boiling down to models will take ages....
However, if your definition of "Nice looking" Equals => head turners, there's got to be more $$$ involved.
If your definition of good looking is for yourself...there you go..
Good luck with the ride....save about US $ 800 and get a decent system in the car...that is important... ;) |
