LOL. Oh well, save the advice for next time you quit :p | \
im not the kind of person who should have large quantities of wine lying around :p the only thing that keeps me sober on a school night is limiting myself to 1 bottle in the house. |

YankeeBaby, list your favorites! :)
Last night we tried fortified wines in class (porto, sherry and madiera). DO NOT WANT! Was like drinking vodka and butterscotch. :p |

Yeah, that is nasty.
Think I may finally get to the '03 Ducru this weekend. I know I should wait, but . I can just buy another one in 10 years. |

New Zealand make slightly better whites IMO, since their climate is better suited for growing those kinds of grapes, but there have been some fantastic wines (both white and red) coming out of Australia for a long time now.
Check out wines from the Hunter Valley and Margaret River regions here, they're among the best around. |
Don't forget Barossa |

What would you suggest? All the fortifieds last night were just so much crammed into one sip! |

The wine expo is on my birthday every year! In my limited experience, I've found the most interesting and flavourful wines come from Australia and New Zealand. Love their booths up every year at the expo. |
Same, Australia & New Zealand have my favorite reds. You can't go wrong with Spain & Argentina either. |

i wouldn't say that you "couldn't go wrong" bas.
Argentina makes a few really really quality wines, but after that there is a load of overpriced garbage. |

Also, anybody from Ontario know how any of the wineries just past the US border are? I seem to pass about a billion of them every time I drive to Toronto. |
Jackson-Triggs is the best large one
Foreign Affair Winery is the best small one
(I live and work in that area)
Also
My fave white is a cheap mellow called Folonari (has to be the Soave)
Best red would have to be Wolf Blass (Grey Label- Cabernet Sauvignon) |
