Pretty good release here for fans of Simon Berry and Platipus label. A solid pack of remixes with their own trance style but for the old schoolers we like the head heavy stuff. Simon and a possible few are only making actual 'entrancing' trance music. The original is really hypnotic with those AOT subtle prog noises building up then cascading nicely. The only remixes I preferred were Meanda and Aaron Gray;they were the tranciest overall and Kaukuta Saint remix was decent until the breakdown and took to long to regain momentum.Hopefully more releases in the future.
I picked this up yesterday aswell and I enjoy the whole package. But the original mix is my favorite and meanda remix stands out the most of the remixes. Overall really good tunes :)

I've gone thru them all on Juno a few times now and the Original Mix, Meanda, Healium's Art of Acid, Dingle and Aaron Gray Remixes seem to be the nicest ones IMO but it's kinda hard to judge when you can't hear the tunes uninterrupted from start to finish. I'll most likely pick this up at iTunes (only 1,99€ for the whole lot).

posted this is a different thread that wasn't really about the release:
Quillroader Remix does have the typical dutch trance-sound to it. Big breakdown etc., obvious choice for the newer generation. The Kaukuta Saint Remix starts off very good, but when the melody comes in it really disappoints. Healium's Art Of Acid Remix is better for me overall, a tad slower with more acid. Aaron Gray Remix is also good, but the breakdown lasts way too long. Meanda was to noisy for me. Dingle was boring though I'm sure some technofans will find it appealing.
All in all decently varied remixes.

I agree with this post somewhat. It's a nice varied remix pack, but they all fail in some way or another. Based on kick and bass alone, the Meanda remix is fantastic, but it just s around too much. Based on structure alone, I like the Dingle remix the best, but the basic elements underpinning it are too generic and plodding for my taste. I'd like to see a cross between these two remixes.

Pretty similar to my thoughts, though I think the Meana remix is mastered kind of weird which makes it slightly painful to listen to. I really liked the Kaukuta Saint one until the breakdown and the melody came in. Seemed far too cheesy. I'd like to make an edit of that one, possibly. Dingle one wasn't bad, but it was a bit generic. Two and a half minute breakdown on Aaron Gray kills me. Quillroader is jsut generic dutch trance remix with two minute breakdown and uplifting-ness. Healium's Art of Acid isn't bad, but I'd prefer if it didn't have the melody stabs in it. Would be better if it just stuck to the acid.
Original is fantastic, imo. Up there with the best from Pylon Pigs.

I have only heard the original here:
AndI must admit this is Hands down even better than most stuff on Pylon Pigs. The bass, the riffs and the dramatic sweeps in the background is so excellently pulled off. This is a track too good to be released during this poor days of trance music. It puts all other trance releases to shame. If this was released a couple of years ago it would render legendary status.
Hats off to Simon and the guys. What an excellent track this is.
Just listen to 04:55 when the bass kicks back in and just pulsate. Wicked!
unfortunately it's not for download, but you can listen to it as much as you want, of course if you like it haha ;)

Thanks for the compliments and criticisms, y'all!
Still like that original...Hopefully he's got more where that came from.
I really liked yours, man. That breakdown just killed it for me, though. Went on forever :( The percussion was fantastic, though. Also really liked some of the added background sounds. Was really good, which is what makes the breakdown even more of a disappointment :p

That post was not for you, read who he quoted. Your remix was destroyed by those horrible bassdrums, really really messy. I bet fixing it to standard 4/4 would make it decent tho, the rest didn't seem too bad.
