Hey guys,
Here's my new single that's signed to Perceptive Recordings :)
Would love some feedback as to what could be fixed, as there's still some tweaking to be done :)
I've heard that the bass is too 'wide' and I need to make it narrower, so do let me know about this issue.

nice start, when the pad comes in maybe bring it in by volume or filter.
cool bassline synth. pretty sweet sounding. as for it being to wide, well thats a matter of how YOU want your bass to be brought out in the song. i personally feel it gives the song some stereo dynamic.
nice break, good synth melody. piano sounded kinda fake or maybe too present. i duno
i like the pop synth you have going. gives the song nice ambiance.
i might lower the volume of the clap so it feels more "in the song" as you can hear it over everything else
over all nice progressions and well composed.

The pad that you're talking about bringing in by volume/filter, is it the intro pad?
From 30 - 56 seconds? The volume and filter are already automated, if so.
The bass is basically 'mono' over 200 Hz, some have suggested bringing this up to around 600-700 Hz, as this gives the bass more clarity. Still pondering over this..
I suppose the piano is loud over the other elements, I might bring down the level a bit :) |
