One of the premiere producers during the reign of trance in Argentina has come with a potential nuclear bomb. Detune persuades our minds to create a musical shape in our subconscious which creates a bizarre universe where this journey starts.
Uma is the name for this modular signal conjunction. A conceptual trance track that brings the warmth and textures only indie electronica can really surge to life. The attraction of this melody are the simple and humble patterns used to develop its atmosphere, and percussions that capture the expansion of the track while its evolving on its own identifiable material. Like a thousand-angel choir behind quiet and delicate pads starts the sensation of divine power with a filtered melody, definitely the highlight of this EP.

If there is someone capable of making a mix sicker in a very different way, that would be Chris Schweizer, another Argentinean master who shares the same city as Detune, but who understands music as a different world. Chris not only created a surprising accompaniment to slightly vary from the original, main melody, but also put his unique, brain-jolting touches to the bass line which decorate the miniature percussion and hi hats. We can hear some FX during the first two minutes while a modulated synth merely changes the track's mood into an exploration of a techno-electronic-deep-house attitude toward trance.
To complete this EP as a perfect piece of work we needed a brilliant subject who has that particularly innovative DNA. Sergio Maldonado is a Californian trance erudite who has never disappointed with his work. It is a very dark and ambient tune, but with a punctuated, emotive synth that reaches glory with lots of energy at its peak. As a classic part of Sergio's brain is a distorted synth, a very distinguished element that evokes the music gods.
