Hello Everyone. Just thoght it will be good idea that anyone who have more experience can give names of several plug-ings that push's his Kicks, Bassline to the next level.

I'm new in this field and will be glad to see your recommendations

Just Got the Waves SSL-4000 Bundle and hope to get the best of it.

also will be nice to hear what you think, theres mach big different between this Pack (SSL-4000) and the Hardware version "Duende"?

Many Thanks!:)

Plugins are never really genre specific.

I just use good samples and a few plugins. My favs/most used are:
- Voxengo MSED
- Flux Bittersweet
- Tls Maximizer
- Synth1

All of those are free.

Furthermore I use FXPansion synthsquad, Nomad plugins and some more.

What he said. You can make great prog/tech house with any plug-in.

you should also grab a noise generator and outboard compressor with side-chaining option then just sidechain the out of the noise generator

*facepalm

the only thing that pushes things to next level is experience. Better plugins won't make you write better music if you don't know how to use them

not agree, am not talking about the compostion, and theres more than several plug-ing that make your kick sound more analogy than others.

please don't try to write general .sentences that ben said before , give some practical specific , technical advices.

if your music is ing garbage a more analogy kick wont help, no one gives a about your kick, people wanna dance, not listen and examine your analog-y kick

mathieu, please read the title of the subject. i'm not talking about compostion so if you don't know to answer - save it.

thanks.

Any plug in will work, as said before. If you are looking for more genre specific stuff then look at sample packs.

I just try and keep in mind that an amazing artist doesn't need amazing tools, they can make audiences enraptured with a spoon.

music2dance2
PSP Vintage warmer
TC Electronic Character Plug In (PowerCore)
Distortion on the bass/tape saturation FX
Parallel compression

Ok last two arent plugs but they might help you.

Haven't you heard? Ever plug-in these days is imparted with an "Analog" sound. There's no DAW or plug-in you can turn to and not get that warm analogy sound. Mmm mmm.
