Finally got around to installing this thing. Its a choir sample libraries that boasts word building and I have not heard a bad complaint. I install it and without about 5 minutes, I go to the phrase builder and realize they left out some of the most common used syllables in sacred music which is the type of music latin is used. I called my friend and he says there is nothing wrong with my library. What annoys me is not just that it cost 1000$ but rather the fact that the people making this library are so damn clueless that they don't know anything about choirs , latin and the most common words. It isn't rocket science. I hope they give me a re fund. I mean it is missing the most common words. I'm pretty sure the guys making it can't understand latin and made it for stupid film composers that just invent words because none will notice right ?

I feel your pain. I have the tone hammer choir libraries and face the same thing. Except that at least I knew what I was being offered before I clicked the button.

Very very hard to know what you're paying for at times.

Played around with EWQL Symphonics Choirs at a store once. The word building there is independant of phrases and it's possible to create all words you want through the use of its Phonetic script, however it's hard sometimes to figure out the best way to let the choir say the sentence exactly the way you want. You should check it out.

I imagine that he probably owns or has used EWQLSC, but it's starting to get a bit dated in terms of sample quality by the newer choir libraries (e.g., Voxos, Requiem), which are apparently superior to EWQLSC. That said, I agree that Word Builder is pretty incredible and EW recently built it into the PLAY engine (rather than having to deal with two separate plugins), which really solidified the integration IME.
