The first of these mouthwatering match-ups sees label mainstay Jaytech team up with the fast rising Soundprank for ‘Pranktech’. For fans of either artist, ‘Pranktech’ is everything you would hope for and more. A gorgeously paced, musical tech gem, ‘Pranktech’ slips into a lulling, hypnotic groove and gradually weaves in a complex myriad of crystalline, melodic textures that dance through the track with effortless beauty.
Adding an instant contrast, Michael Cassette & Komytea’s ‘The Trigger’ is a quirky, bass gurgling electro-house track that offsets Komytea’s dark 'n' quirky tech stylings with Michael Cassette’s twinkling 80s melodies in emphatic style. Solarity and tech-master Stephen J. Kroos then cook up a jackin’ deep house groover on ‘Bodywalk’ before hitting us with waves of swirling, trippy melodies.
Completing an impressively diverse quartet of collabs, PROFF and Answer42 blend a funky acid groove with retro 808 percussion and bright, bubbling melodies on the brilliantly upbeat ‘Cosmos’.
