For the fifth time now Andre Tanneberger aka ATB grants an insight into those moments that make him so special to his fans and listeners. For the past then years, besides his eight worldwide released and highly successful studio albums, he has also been one of the key innovators of electronic music, travelling the world as ‘ATB the DJ’ to meet his fans and to present them his music live.
But Andre draws a clear line between his studio albums and his live sets:
“On my albums I want to share my personal thoughts, emotions and feelings with the listeners. Surely I also do this with my sets, but on a totally different kind of way. The people surrounding me and the people in the clubs provide a constant feedback while I’m performing, so they are active in the creation of the set at every second. So therefore the sets I play are the product of all this input of all the people in the club. I think on the 3 cd’s of ‘ATB THE DJ 5’ I successfully managed to capture and to express this special creative process, and I hope that listeners can enjoy listening to them. “
ATB THE DJ 5 represents his selection of finest electronic dance music, mixed into three individual, energetic and emotional sets. Like his previous THE DJ compilations, it allows the listeners to participate in these unique and emotional moments where Andre Tanneberger is as close to his fans as possible.
“Of course a compilation cannot recreate the complete experience of my shows, the atmosphere and feelings, but that is also not its primary purpose. What matters for me is that through this CDs people get an insight into what to expect when they come to my gigs.”
The compilation will include three CDs, the first one mixed with modern club sounds, the second one a little bit more progressive. A special highlight for the fans are Andre's exclusive new remixes of his tracks ‘9 PM (Till I Come)’, ‘Gravity’ and ‘L. A. Nights’, as well as an exclusive mix - set containing his all-time favourites. all presented on the third CD of THE DJ 5.
