A couple years back a bunch of mixing boards and DAWs were tested. I think it was Samplitude 10 or 11 that was the best DAW for mixing.

Defintely not Ableton Live anyway, i heard some guy on the internet said it was so stay away from it whatever you do

It is not that bad, it pulls some tricks automatically on all samples you import though. As soon as you turn those off a lot of the troubles are solved. But yes, to me as well it seems like there's something going on in there somewhere.

Like charlie in sheen.

Some guy on the internet told me that all pro tools versions come with a free gram of Charlie Sheen. That's what gives the extra "sheen" to your tracks.
