Yeah he was pretty good...Got to go onstage and watch him mix from about 3 feet away.
but OMFG I think Guvernment was the place to be last night!
we went there around 4 and the place was ing bouncing!
They had a guy named Alex Gold there and he was dropping some sick !
Me and Ruff had fun, but i missed the dancing chicks that took their tops off!
Cool seeing kamakazee, Karamalized and the rest that we met up with.

well, lemme start off by saying how awsome wharehouse looked after some renovations, i think they're not fully finished yet either.
as for pete tong, he was alright. i kinda expected a little bit more from him. all throughout his set, i was waiting for him to pick it up one more notch, but he really never brought it to that level, so i was left hanging. but don't get me wrong he has great skills. evmac and i had a chance to go up on stage and watch him spin from 3 feet away, let's just say he was dipping into the vodka cranberries all night...lol!!
so it hit around 4am and i was getting tired, and all of a sudden my crew decided to check out the guverment for a bit. OMFG!! the guverment was en off the hook!! guest dj alex gold was on the decks and he amazing!! i was going so hard that i forgot that i was once tired!! it was pure hard hitting trance, i loved every bit of it!! the only thing i didn't quite like about the guv is the crowd. it seemed that they were not to knowledgable of their trance and that it was a bunch of people just trying to get fuct on every imaginable. i was dancing in front of the couches and was that a disaster area or what. everyone there was en cracked and sketched out of their minds!! pretty depressing. but one aspect about the crowd that i did like was when two gorgeous girls went up on the stairs and took of their tops and started to make out infront of everyone!! they looked like pure hot ass strippers!! just two normal girls sucking off each others and faces, not a bad sight at all!!
soooo, overall i had a great night partying with the crew, ev, kamakazee, karmalized, greg and their buddies. guv was the perfect cappoff to the night and the best thing of all, i went au naturel and had a great time partying as usual!!

Yeah I agree, his set was good, but he could have been more hardcore, because all night, the tempo would slow down..but then pick up again and get to a point and then slow down again. overall it was a good set though. The lights kinda was weird, always getting way too bright and then changing.
I guess they cant top the one that was done at wintergalactic! those fireworks was crazy!!
it was great partying with you guys again, always always a pleasure kicking back and chilling and just tearing the place down with karmalized, evmac, ruffryder , greg etc!!

Nice to hear you guys had a good time, I couln't make it cuz of exams. But I wanted to see that dude, same with Oakey, I'm gonna cry come wednesday when he's on! I ing have to write on thurs. =((
But anyways, did Tong talk at all? hahah I totally would of wanted to hear his voice, "this is me live in Toronto on RADIO 1!" hahahah I love that kid.
I heard he's a so-so dj, with a sick ing track selection. I heard his mixing and set formation is average. He's totally a cool dude tho, that guys voice is embedded in my head forever. Radio 1 for life~

Yea, Tong was pretty good, I didn't listen to much of him though, I was waaaay too tired. I got to a point where I was seeing double because I was so tired.
I really did like what they did with the warehouse though. The last time that I was in there was back at Dr. Trance's last Effective party, with Bad Boy Bill, Hardware, Frankie Bones...ahhh...that was one sick party. I remember it getting so hot in there it started to rain inside of the place...hehe

| Ruffy your right the guv was rocking on Saturday, too bad i didn't stay for the Dj after Oliver... Oliver was dropping tune after tune, i was going mental, jumpin and like that; but the crowd, the crowd was dead... When the strobe lights would go on you'd see large people just all ed up, people like that just go there for the drugs not the music, and really this is quite depressing (ruins the atmosphere) |
