I was going for that Markus Schulz Coldharbour Sound 2004 / 2005 style
How is the Bass?
How is the mix?
progressive house by atxshotcaller1

You've got the right concept I think. Its too mid focussed though, especially in the bass, where are the subs? The toms also need a bit more low end extension IMO, and possibly some more atmospheric sounds and transitions, sweeps etc...

into coldharbour as you can tell, with my track summer sky lol also, drift.

i wouldnt exactly pinpoint it on coldharbour either, but hey most of us know what you're talking about.

they have these fat, deep basses which are hard not to like. as kit said, i think you need the bass to be deeper. just keep comparing with the tracks bro, im sure you know enough of them to do that. pretty close :gsmile:

does anyone know any labels pushing that trance sound(other than armada)? im going to be making lots more of it myself.

This is why I don't put stuff out and can't get done.

I am on a
Old Dell
Intel Pentium 4
250mb ram
80gig hd
Creative Sound Blaster Sound card
Reason 4
Reaper
fm8

I guess I will work on the bass some more and used 2 subtractors this time and make it more nasty!

BTW this track was just a BS track to show y'all to get some help on how to get a Coldharbour like sound.
Thanks for the help!
MSZ
ya bro u might need some better speakers, or a sub perhaps. if you're not bouncing audio to wav then new cpu for sure, u can upgrade somewhat cheaply, motherboard, cpu, ram and get something really good for the price. but if not, just keep bouncing audio and you should be pretty decently off although it might consume more time if you dont have it.

hehe ironcally, i made this remix today, and coldharbour was in my mind. its still a prototype ;) ya its not amazingly well made(and 2bpm slower than it should be).

I am poor.
My PC is going to die soon.
Going to get a new one at goodwell soon.
I am better off buying a new PC from goodwell then buying new ram.
