I am finally fully recovered from the other night/day. What a party!
We got to Pacha around midnight to catch some of Brad Miller's set and really enjoyed it. Sasha came on around 1:20am and totally killed it. It was my first time seeing Sasha and the man is a beast behind the decks. The mixing was superb and the track selection was awesome. My favorite track of the night by him was Booka Shade - Regenerate (Pan Pot Remix). It was such a massive tune for me last year and it was awesome to hear it at Pacha. And I agree with Pyro, the sound system was pretty good.
Victor Calderone came on around 6:00am and I couldn't be happier. I'm a big fan of Calderone and he surely didn't disappoint. The buildups were massive and crowd was really into it. I'm sure he played some new stuff and couldn't quite make most of the tracks. Andrew, did you write that request on napkin and did he play it? We left the club around 8:00am but I would have loved to hear more of his set (we were too drunk & exhausted at this point and i don't have Andrew's godlike clubbing powers)
This is probably one of my favorites of this year and don't know if I could top it this year. The vibe was great throughout the night and the crowd was great (I know Vic has a huge gay following but I did not see dudes with no shirts on the dance floor when he got on this time around). It was great seeing some of my best friends joining me for this party and they all had a great time. One of them doesn't even remember how he got home, lol. It was also great seeing many of the TA and meeting some new ones like Pryo. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the next party.
Another great night out Matt(ladazenynights)! I remember the $20 incident but it was pretty funny how you tried to explain yourself and apologize while Calderone was spinning ;-) I'm definitely looking forward to checking out more shows with you soon. How about Ferry? Paul Ritch?

thanks, i havent really been out since nyd so i needed to just go all out and have a good night and this was defff the party to do it to
got there around 2ish and sasha was already on dropping some nice beats...the ta meetup was great success (hi-five)
good seeing everyone and finally meeting you pyro...you been around the board for along time and never got to meet you so yea good seeing you and dont worry about me saving your ass lol
first time seeing sasha alone and i def enjoyed him alot more then when he was with digweed a few years ago...guy def was deep and proggy ..only thing is i felt like his last half hour or so he coulda picked it up a lil bit and went all out but overall i enjoyed what i heard and will def be seeing him next time and next time hopefully it's a more extended set where he can just keep on building and building his set
6am rolls around and you know how that goes lol i wont get into too much detail other then calderone came on and layed it down proper, really great set and his mixing was flawless, every track just flowed so well ahhhh again between sasha and calderone this has def been my fav party of the year so far, it ended at 12:30 and the club still had a lil crowd in it all wanting more ha ha
pacha last night was probly one of the best times i ever had there..i liked those new led wall screens they put up by the dj booth
and in the back, lights the place up...sound was def beefed up my ears are not ringing at all today, that new ac is def too much you need a jacket if your standing right under it brrrrrrr is cold ha ha
and the crowd was def alot of fun last night, not too many juice heads,crack heads etc etc it was a great crowd and yea not too many shirtless guys grinding on each other either, i didnt even get asked for drugs once nor did i see many people doing any around me
so yea last night was def a good music/vibe party

on a side note i slept 14 hours and iam fully recovered and ready for miami ha ha thanks again everyone for makeing it out to the party it was alot of fun :)

Sasha blew my expectations to another planet, literally. His set was on point, it almost felt like a dream within a dream lol a real virtuoso
Brad Miller's set was awesome too! Hope you got a chance to convince sasha to have more gigs here...
BTW can anyone ID the track @30 minutes in his latest set at ministry of sound? I believe its the one from 04/12/2010

i had a great time out for sasha (first time out in about 3 years) and it was great seeing a lot of familiar and new faces. i stayed for about 2 and a half hours for sasha and thoroughly enjoyed his set. pacha was surprisingly not packed wall to wall like i thought it would be (and only 40 dollars for a set?). good times. see you all in a few years haha!

^the dancefloor felt small enough with that many people there already haha
i feel like a lot of people like to show up to pacha and buy tickets at the door...i saw people walking away as i entered, grumbling about it being 60 bucks or something like that.
the crowd was mucchhh better than i've seen it at pacha before (only been 3 other times though)

could've been the 21 and over thing? i'm not sure if pacha has age minimums on other nights.
a few things i don't miss after a few years of not clubbing: old asian fobs. juiced up dudes. smokers in big klobs.

Pacha does have age limits (usually saturday parties) but there was a definitely MUCH LESS juiced up dudes, smokers, and Asian fobs that AY STAR loves to annoy.
PS. Just remembered this, I was going crazy when Sasha dropped Joris Voorn - Untitled Dub Vol.1..
