i had a great time! pvd's set was hard and fast for the most part, which i really liked, but slowed down a bit when i was starting to sober up, perfect timing. even a bunch of my friends who aren't really into pvd had a good time.

also, i was kinda bummed about missing fedde this night, but trent kindly dropped a few of fedde's most recent bombs for us (metrum ... oh my god). trent might have stolen the show from pvd, to be honest!

got in free thru a friend. thought pvd was okay at the start then got drunk and cant remember the rest of his set. came home and listened to seven ways.

Last night was FUN!!!! I pretty much danced to PVD's set non stop. I hadn't had as much fun as I did in a loooonnnnnnnggggg time.

Paul Van Dyk doesn't have the pull he once did here in LA, but i'm glad he hasn't sold out and kept his trademark sound. He's the man! As predicted by some, it didn't sell out, but it wasn't empty either. And yes, it was an older crowd which I loved!!!! I saw many old friends and met new ones. Lots of friendly people. It was awesome meeting new TA's. Thanks for introducing your selves.

Hardly any etards anywhere and security was really cracking down on them hard!

I got to the Palladium right after my gig at exactly 1am. A few minutes later, Paul went on. He started out HARD! Like extremely HARD!!! Right there and then, I knew we were on for a good one. He dropped everything from really hard trance, to breaks, to some house type of music. Yes, he did slowed down. Honestly, I expected that. It's not the first time I've seen him do it so I knew he'd do it again. Than he picked it up and drop some hard and just as I was leaving around 3:30am, he dropped some sick trance! Overall, I'm with Silvia on this one, 8.5 out of 10.

Honestly, I also gotta give props to Insomniac & The Palladium for trying hard to keep this event as clean as possible. For the first time in a long time I didn't felt like I was babysitting a bunch of kids.

he has been consistently playing hard (with the exception of festivals) lately. Its almost like he has got his sound back.

I forgot to mention, PVD looked so happy the whole night. He wouldn't stop singing, smiling, dancing, and genuinely having a good time. Thumbs up for that.

I have seen pvd over 50 times and he dances around like that pretty rarely. I would say I have seen it 4 times. Deff a good night when it happens

fun times.. got there at 12ish...trent threw down an EXCELLENT set..and i mean EXCELLENT...

i thought paul had a great intro..he was banging it..much more power than any sets he plays as massives...

tho after a while..his set kinda just lulled off ..kinda got bored..feet started to hurt lol.. and whats with him playing the same song twice?

my sister-in-law however was like "how come there's not much vocals?" lol..she was sorta disappointed but overall she still enjoyed his set...

for an 18+ party..it was nice to see a lot of old school people there.. i was worried the event would be wall to wall kiddos...

the bathrooms were clean? damn if i woulda known.. i wouldnt have held my pee that long! haha

nice to meet u too Dream Beamz..and so glad you could meet other LATAs :)

Sadly i wasn't able to go, but i will catch him soon. I'm glad there was no e-tards, i'm pretty sure that's why he was happy the whole night.

This was my first time seeing PVD. It was a fun night for me even though I'm more into the slower tempo (like Markus 2003-2005) stuff. For a 18+ event, the crowd really seemed older than usual. It's like Paul has kept his old fans but isn't very popular with the younger crowd? It never got too crowded which was good. Nice to see Karen, Woody and meet Dream Beanz.

Here are the video clips I took that night. It was very LOUD, so the sound is not the best . . .

Anyone know which remix of Mindcircus this is? Some mash up with Hard Rock Sofa & St. Brothers - Blow Up (Thomas Gold vs. Axwell Remix)?
