You know, I am mad. The more I see how business is done these days, America is sliding towards Russian-style corruption.
Funny that all these companies have "ethics" training their employees have to go through, all the while they do these sorts of backroom deals, grease politicians, and specialize in various tactics worthy of a mob.
One of my acquaintances worked for one of these big boys and witnessed how one politician was black mailed. The company wanted deal done. The politician was opposed to it. They invited him out for business dinner, got him drunk, got him to a "private party" involving call girls. Snapped some shots without his knowledge.
When he tried opposing said company's business opening (and in process killing tons of little local mom and pop shops), he got a packet of pictures showing him in compromising situation and it said "this can all go away... or you will"
Sick.... but we're going to be like Russia very soon. |

I used to work for AT&T Mobility (Retail).
I know from the people who still work there that the company has:
1. Shortened full-time lunch breaks from 1 hour to 45 minutes.
2. "Changed Commission Guidelines" i.e. seriously cut commission.
All the while the company execs have growing bonuses and they have enough money to buy T-Mobile?
Cutting commission is so shady, too. That way the company doesn't have to report that they are cutting employee wages... even though they are. |

sounds like they've just gotten big, all big business starts pulling this once they get big enough--
sucks for people who are working there :( |

only issue i see w/ this is HSPA+ is being replaced w/ LTE so all our t-mobile devices (GSM included) wont' work come October so we'll have to get new devices that require "special plans that work for your specific device"... basically they're going to try and rope us into tiered data plans etc |
