Dude, there are TONS of good parties out here in Cali! The scene in SF is outrageously good and LA has it going on also. You're probably ed in Vegas though...

I was in LA on business last year and found one good party at a place called the Standard, downtown. Was during the daytime and very nice. Good tunes.
Vegas is a fun place for our friends to get away too. Go frequently, but being an electronic music afficionado, it leaves you hangin in that aspect.

There are quite a few of us here in LA that have good taste in music. We just don't post on these boards all that much :)
